It's interesting that I was not so into the Rock Band series, because I had Guitar Hero III and thought that it was going to be the last series of Guitar games I would get, since they are hyping the difficulty to make their game more worth beating... In my opinion, they are making it harder, because they are afraid that people wouldn't give the effort knowing that the game was extremely easy to beat... Rock Band made it easier than Guitar Hero III, but that's because you have more than 1 instrument to beat the career!

Rock Band for Wii got screwed from Downloadable Content and Online, but I could care less about it because I thought I would miss out in the fun that was generating on the 360 and PS3. It was just great, knowing that I could play with other people in other way than just Guitar and Bass. It was all fun and dandy, until Rock Band 2 came out for the Wii with basically the same features that 360 and Ps3 had since RB.

DLC is by far an addicting thing, and I am at fault for that... But knowing that I can increase the games song count with music I like and love? Hard to pass up especially when some good songs are just right around the corner for you to purchase! (That is, if you have the cash and the internet connection) The game is balance in every aspect, that I have forgotten about Dance Dance Revolution, Beatmania, Guitar Hero and other smaller Rhythm-based games I was in love before.

I take it out to friends house, and the experience is always satisfying knowing that they enjoy the game, because its not a game that judges your skills, where there's an expert Guitarist on the game, the others are not forced to be on their level. The game makes me feel happy because is everyone cooperating to enjoy the song from start to finish with some funny/mad/sad comments after the song is done.

My song roster was from 83 songs to 140 now... It's been worth it!
